Just a short day hike for this leg, about 2 hours of walking time. Doing this section west to east  was a relatively easy hike with the exception of a couple of short hills, one right after the bridge and the second a couple miles later. Our biggest challenge was avoiding the puddles after a good rain that morning. We also had about 3-4 cars per hour pass us as we walked. Unbeknownst to us, we also shared a bit of space with a grizzly that one of those car occupants photographed. Bowman Lake was beautiful, it seems like the colors that day were intensified by the earlier rain.
